Our client in Agriculture commodities is seeking Factory Asst. Manager - Karnataka - Cashew Location: Udupi- Karnataka Salary- up to 19 lakhs PA Job purpose Lead and manage a team of production staff, supervisors, and other personnel. Manage and allocate resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively for the factory. Ensure efficient and timely production processes to meet production targets and quality standards. Optimize production workflows and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations. Duties and responsibilities Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Address any issues or challenges that arise during production promptly and effectively. Ensure that the factory operations comply with environmental regulations and sustainability standards. Monitor and ensure that products meet or exceed quality specifications. Communicate effectively with other departments, senior management, and external stakeholders. Report, control and analyze performance metrics of the operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive efficiency and innovation. Qualifications Qualifications include: Education: MBA/ BE/B Tech- preferably from Agriculture background Specialized knowledge: Supply chain, operations or production planning Skills: Six sigma, SAP, Advance Excel, Office 365 Abilities: leadership, effective communication, emotional intelligence, shopfloor management, decision making, Problem solving Professional Certifications if any would be an added advantage Experience - 5+ Years handling operations, value chain, manufacturing and similar industry.
