You will be involved in planning, organizing, and coordinating engineering activities to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of all building systems and related equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and reliability in all engineering operations. You will also work closely with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.Responsibilities:Manage Engineering Operations: Oversee the day-to-day engineering operations, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems. Ensure all equipment and systems are properly maintained and in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement engineering plans and budgets, considering business objectives and operational requirements. Monitor expenditures and justify variances to ensure cost-effective operations.Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians. Hire, train, and develop team members to maintain a high level of technical expertise and performance.Vendor Management: Collaborate with external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of projects and optimal performance of outsourced services. Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and manage vendor relationships.Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize breakdowns, prolong equipment life, and reduce repair costs.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary. Promote a culture of safety among staff and contractors.Energy Management: Identify and implement energy-efficient initiatives to reduce energy consumption and drive sustainability efforts.Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to other departments, property managers, and tenants. Address and resolve engineering-related issues and inquiries in a timely manner.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial real estate or property management environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
