Job Description


Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced staff to join our facilities team as officer to drive its newly established Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.
The position will be responsible for effective & efficient delivery of logistics, maintenance & other support services related to Westgate CDC premises.Responsibilities:

  • Assisting to set right facility management strategy for CDC establishment
  • Oversee day to day CDC office environment, manage admin. staff
  • Co-ordinating & providing guidance to service providers/ managed services agency for implementation of scheduled maintenance activities as per UPS, Generators, HVAC system etc
  • Ensuring regular inspection & scheduled maintenance activities for T&A machine, CCRV cameras etc by IT Dept.
  • Resolving staff technical queries & requests pertaining to facilities/ maintenance from email correspondence
  • Assisting in preparing scope of work, preliminary drawing, BOQ for project work related to Civil & MEP installation
  • Ensuring regular check of all electrical low voltage (ELV) systems & rectification in case of any fault
  • Ensuring regular inspection & schedule maintenance activities of fire systems by fire & safety system provider
  • Liaise with team to conduct fire exercises as per Indian standards & QR requirements
  • Ensuring safe & secure transportation of females working in evening/ night shifts
  • Reporting safety, security, hygiene or any other issues related to FM provider
  • Co-ordinating with service provider for maintenance of premises protection, alarm system, intercom system, video surveillance, pest management, cleaning & waste management of office
  • Processing procurements/ Contracts end to end with regards to facilities
  • Ensuring timely renewal of contracts/ PO relating to IT & facilities
  • Ensuring training of direct & indirect staff to handle emergency situations like power failure, beak down of MEP installations etc
  • Effective communication with stakeholders to discuss & seek approvals
  • Ensuring statutory compliances with regards to facilities management & transportation
  • Maintaining, updating & securing all building operations manuals & drawings
  • Ensuring proper visitors management & reception management as per standard QR policy
  • Keeping stock of office supplies & ensure its replenishment
  • Supervision of Admin staff
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Commerce with minimum 3 years relevant work experience as administrative coordinator
  • Experience of manpower management & facilities management contractors.
