Job Summary: We're looking to hire for an experienced Fabric Buyer with strong expertise in the Fabrics sector and a keen eye for Sourcing the highest Quality Fabrics . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Fabric Sourcing , Supplier Negotiation , and ensuring that Materials Align with Production and Design requirements. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about working with Fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabric Sourcing: Identify and source high-quality fabrics for garment production, ensuring they meet design specifications and production requirements.
• Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate competitive prices, terms, and delivery schedules with fabric suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough fabric inspections to ensure quality standards are met and resolve any quality-related issues.
• Collaboration with Design & Production Teams: Work closely with designers and production teams to understand fabric needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage fabric stock levels, ensuring that materials are available when needed without overstocking.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of fabric purchases, costs, and supplier communications.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fabric Merchandiser or similar role in the Garment Industry.
• Diploma in Fashion, Textile, Garments or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of various Fabric Types , Qualities , Textures , Specification , and their applications in Garment Production.
• Strong ability to Negotiate Prices , Terms , and Delivery Schedules with Suppliers to ensure Cost-Effective Procurement.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in Fabric Sourcing .
• Familiarity with Fabric Sourcing Tools and Systems.
