:Job Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining quality standards, and leading the restaurant team at Della Adventure & Resorts' Japanese restaurant. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hospitality, an understanding of Japanese cuisine and service etiquette, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Supervise and train restaurant staff on Japanese dining etiquette, menu knowledge, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards as per FSSAI and company policies.
  • Monitor food presentation, portion control, and overall consistency in line with Japanese culinary traditions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and timely service.
  • Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and table turnover to maximize revenue.
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotions to enhance brand presence and attract customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, sales, and employee performance.
  • Ensure team adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and code of conduct.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a Japanese restaurant or fine dining setup.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, culture, and traditional dining customs is a plus.
  • Experience in handling POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.
