As F & B Captain at a Hunger Inc restaurant, The Bombay Canteen or O Pedro, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are the characteristics of our dining experience. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding Food & Beverage offerings will make our guests feel unique and valued.Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the work location will be at the respective outlet.Responsibilities:

• Always be warm, courteous and polite

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative, casual and helpful way

• Follow Hunger Inc. policies, procedures and service standards

• Be completely well versed with food & beverage offered at the outlet

• Understand how all items are procured, prepared and served to explain the guests correctly

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages

• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the restaurant, its cutlery, crockery and glassware is maintained

• Carry out opening and closing procedures as per Peak-scale checklists

• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Captain

• Assist in training of Stewards for restaurant duties

• Previous customer-facing service experience is a must

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous always

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required

• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

• Highly responsible & reliable team player
