Oversee and direct the wait staff during shifts, ensuring high standards of service.
Take orders from guests and communicate with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure the dining area is properly set up and clean, with attention to detail.
Professionally handle guest complaints or concerns.
Monitor food and beverage quality to ensure consistency.
Train and mentor new staff members.
Ensure that health and safety standards are followed in the restaurant.
Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain communication between kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a supervisory role.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and remain calm.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
