- Client Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with international buyers and clients.
- Understand client requirements and ensure they are met with precision and timely execution.
- Handle client communications, including order confirmations, updates, and issue resolution.
- Order Management:
- Oversee the entire order process from initial inquiry to final shipment.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications and timelines are met.
- Ensure all export documentation is accurately prepared and processed.
- Production Coordination:
- Collaborate with the production team to monitor the manufacturing process.
- Ensure that production schedules align with delivery deadlines.
- Address any production issues that may arise to avoid delays.
- Quality Control:
- Implement stringent quality control measures to meet international standards.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of production to ensure product quality.
- Address quality issues promptly and efficiently.
- Logistics and Shipment:
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Manage all aspects of shipping, including customs clearance and documentation.
- Monitor shipment schedules and update clients regularly.
- Market Research and Development:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the garments industry.
- Develop strategies to expand the company\'s presence in international markets.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to promote the company\xe2\x80\x99s products and services.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers and support staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for export operations.
- Monitor expenses and ensure they are within the allocated budget.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards.
- Identify potential risks in the export process and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with changes in export regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Textile Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export merchandising, preferably in the garments industry.
- Strong understanding of international trade laws, export documentation, and logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
