Job Description

1. Interface with internal customers, government agencies, customs brokers, and forwarders. Work closely with the operations team to address escalated issues.



2. Negotiate freight rates for export and domestic transportation based on business requirements.



3. Monitor Domestic and Export shipments closely. Ensure clearances, excise sales tax compliances, and manage Customs DGFT related matters.



4. Develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy to optimize logistics costs and evaluate the Distribution Network.



5. Strategize the selection of new service providers at competitive costs while maintaining service levels.



6. Knowledge of national and international export legislation. Troubleshoot issues in international freight transportation effectively.



7. Coordinate with Banks for export documentation



8. Build relationships and collaborate with logistics mediators to ensure freight protection during transportation.



9. Maintain accurate documentation and communication of operating procedures, priorities, and issues.



10. Invoice customers and send documents through bank channels.



11. Track shipments, liaise between manufacturing facilities and customers, and provide regular updates on shipment status.



12. Monitor inventory and stock keeping.



13. Track receivables and payables related to logistics and exports.



14. Prepare monthly reports and presentations for senior management regularly





Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
