Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Pre- and Post-shipment Documentation :

• Oversee the preparation, verification, and management of all necessary export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other related documents.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of export documents in accordance with international trade regulations and company standards.

Coordination :

• Act as the central point of contact between internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) and external partners, including freight forwarders, shipping lines, insurance companies, ECGC, DGFT, Customs, and the Export Inspection Agency, to ensure seamless shipment operations.
• Manage relationships with Customs House Agents (CHA), shipping lines, and banks to effectively handle import shipments and close transactions efficiently.

Regulation & Compliance :

• Ensure that all export operations comply with international trade laws and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, particularly Incoterms 2020 .
• Manage export-related documentation such as licenses, permits, and certifications, ensuring full adherence to export compliance procedures.

Process Management :

• Continuously assess and optimize export documentation processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all export-related documents and transactions.

Reporting & Training :

• Compile and submit regular reports on export activities and performance metrics.
• Participate in training programs and share best practices with the team to foster knowledge sharing and improve overall export operations.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Export Documentation and Operations, preferably within the Manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020 and international trade regulations.
• Hands-on experience in dealing with freight forwarders , CHA , banks , and shipping lines .
• Knowledge of DGFT regulations and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office and export management software.

Preferred :

• Experience handling import shipments and coordination.
• Knowledge of export insurance and trade finance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
