As we expand our operations globally, we seek a highly skilled and motivated Export Executive to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of international shipments from booking to dispatch.

Job Summary:

The International Shipment Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of international shipments. This includes obtaining and negotiating rates from various agents, preparing necessary paperwork, liaising with Customs House Agents (CHA) for customs clearance, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international shipping regulations and excellent negotiation and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and negotiate shipping rates from various agents to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods. Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) to facilitate smooth customs clearance for international shipments. Track and monitor shipments from booking to dispatch, ensuring all milestones are met and any issues are promptly addressed. Communicate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations. Manage and resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including costs, timelines, and delivery statuses. Stay updated on international shipping regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payment of shipping invoices and reconciliation of shipping costs. Provide regular updates and reports on shipment statuses to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in international shipping and logistics coordination, preferably within the e-commerce industry. Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in using shipping and logistics software and tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
