Job Description

Function: Export Container PlanningDesired Experience: 5 to 8 yearsJob Location: Andheri (W), Mumbai:Co-ordinate with Purchase team & supplier regularly and follow up for readiness dates of material.Chase for packing list with Purchase team well in advance.Prepare planning as per the discussion/ packing list received from Purchase team.Share planning with buyer/sales team for approval, consignee, notify, BIVAC etc.Place booking with logistic team.Intimate QC for inspection well in advance.Coordinate with transporter for pickup of empty container.Upon receipt of packing list from vendor cross verify details like weight, Qty, description, origin, HAZ material requirements with PO / PFI.Coordinate with internal Team before placing container like1) Coordinate with purchase team after receiving packing details, check proper requirement with purchase team / Supplier. Coordinate with team for dispatches.2) QC for material approval3) Check payment details if any account team instruction4) Share buyers wise planning to sales team for approval & follow up until getting consignee & notify party details.5) Coordinate daily with warehouse team for inventory & balance material. Update those remarks & buyer name with destination.6) Place container booking after sales approval & if material is in warehouse or in transit. 7) Share boking to CHA to pick up container on time & place container at per loading plan.8) Coordinate with warehouse team at the time stuffing.9) Send actual loading details to buyer10) If material is in warehouse, more than 60 days update to purchase team & accounts team to raise debit note of material.11) Update daily work done to HOD in details and discuss for any hurdles/deviations.To share the planning with respective sales team and arrange for loading approval with consignee and notify party detailsUpon receiving of loading approval to place the booking request with logistics teamTo arrange the container at RK logistics for stuffing after verifying inventory sheet, to ensure that all planning material should be available for stuffing to avoid the delays.Ensure to get final load list from warehouse team on the same day or else by next working day.Ensure to gate in the container within 7-10 daysRequirements

• \xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience in container planning.
• \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge & understanding of different types of containers.
• \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with the terms like FCL / LCL / MCL.
• \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of how to calculate CBM & capacity of all the containers respectively.
• \xc2\xb7 Experience in Export House / Merchant Exporter is highly desirable.
