We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF). We are an organization of more than 4,600 colleagues complemented by approximately 500 virtual FTE (i.e., bots applied in process automation). Our colleagues are based across six service delivery centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Chengdu, Manila, Bogota & Budapest. You will interact with people from all over the world and get the chance to a truly international organization.
As a Process Automation Expert in our shared services organization, you'll lead the development and implementation of automation solutions to optimize operational workflows and enhance efficiency. Collaborating closely with various teams, you'll identify automation opportunities and design robust frameworks to streamline processes. Leveraging your advanced knowledge of automation technologies, you'll transform complex workflows into automated solutions, driving innovation and delivering tangible results. Your strategic insights and expertise will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and achieving our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with business partners and stakeholders within the Global Service Center (GSC) to understand their automation needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Translate business requirements into actionable automation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using UI Path and other relevant technologies to streamline operational workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Utilize SQL and other databases to retrieve and manipulate data necessary for automation processes.
• Analyze existing processes to identify automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Optimize automation workflows to increase accuracy, reduce errors, and enhance overall performance.
• Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to requirements.
• Validate automation results against expected outcomes and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed automation solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as required.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compatibility and integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Document automation processes, including design specifications, configurations, and user guides.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in automation technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices in automation development.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Education Qualification:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possession of relevant certifications in UI Path (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced Developer) and SQL (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) is highly desirable.
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on automation and process improvement using UI Path, SQL and other technologies.
Skills Requirement:
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions using UI Path Studio and Orchestrator, including the use of UI Path activities, workflows, and orchestrations.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering automation projects and driving process improvements in a professional environment, preferably within a shared services organization or similar setting.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices, including Agile principles and practices, particularly with Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in working with SQL databases, including database design, querying, optimization, and data manipulation using SQL Server, Oracle, or similar database management systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in other relevant technologies such as .NET framework, Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS, depending on the specific requirements of the role.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex business processes, identify automation opportunities, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Adaptability and continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the rapidly evolving field of automation and shared services.
