Role Name - IP Planning Expert for Global System Integration (5G Business) Location - Gurgaon Reporting To / Line Manager\'s Name - Global System Integration Head (5G Business) Brief Role Description Responsible for the strategic planning and design of telecom IP infrastructure network as well as network components. This includes Capacity Planning, IP planning & design of IP/MPLS based transport networks, switches / routers and cloud infrastructure. Analyses the short-term and/or long-term network capacity needs for current and future network requirements based on: Technology and network planning across multiple layers Introduction of new technologies into the network for new services Better network efficiency SD LAN/WAN communications Designs the network architecture and performs technical analysis of hardware and network IP planning of cloud infrastructure as well as different PNF nodes Roles and Responsibilities . Design, implement and manage all data/voice communication network infrastructure systems across CSPs and / or Enterprises . Analyses traffic flows and trends, route planning, network optimisation, routing solutions and forecast of traffic . Performs integration with existing systems and conduct service validation prior to hand over to Service Operations team . Troubleshoot and optimize network with respect to bandwidth, latency, connectivity, quality, and security. . Create documentation of new and existing systems which may include network diagrams, system overviews, knowledge base entries, etc . Physical Network Management & Support covering but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, etc . Update and Design next generational network models . Update Network Security based on VNETs & Subnets, with traffic monitoring, etc . Able to identify problems and provide inputs to improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing from personal experiences and feedback. Actively acquires more complex skills, techniques, operating practices, knowledge of abstract concepts in order to progress toward full proficiency in the field of specialisation. . Intrusion detection and prevention technologies . Works efficiently and productively with broad instruction. . Regularly participate in important projects or activities as a full contributing team member, is able to proactively identify important issues or risks, seeks the appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. Required Years of Experience . At least 10 to 12 years\' of experience in planning, design and troubleshooting of IP networks for mobile communication . Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Engineering . CCNP, CCIE or equivalent certified would be preferable. Skillset: . Hands on experience on planning of IP networking for Mobile communication network including routers, switches, fibre optic connections, microwave wireless transmission, etc. . Experience of SD-LAN/WAN planning and deployment. . Experience in troubleshooting complex networking and security related issue in production deployments. . Expert level experience on different L2 and L3 IP routing protocols (BFD, VRF, ISIS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, Prefix Independent Convergence-BGP, IPSEC VPN, MPLS, L3VPN, Segment Routing). . Expertise in troubleshooting network security issues (IPsec, SSL VPNs, Authentication, Radius, ACLs, DNS Proxy, Cloud security). . Good understanding of Virtualization and related technologies. . Experience in configuring and managing Next Generation firewalls (Cisco / Palo-Alto / Juniper). . Demonstrable experience in Routing and Switching product (Cisco / Nokia / Juniper). . Understanding of PPPoE, DHCP and GRE tunnelling. . Good understanding of various NATTING deployments and design . Scripting (bash/python/perl) knowledge is a plus. . Cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP deployments) is a plus. . Efficiency in Adapting to Tech Tools and attention to detail . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Ability to keep up with the latest technologies
