Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace. BIETC is currently looking for a Mid-Level Manufacturing Tech Analyst to join Production Engineering team in Bangalore. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial (BCA) business organization . In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will have a strong background in machine shop practices, construction, breakdown, producibility, CATIA and mechanical assembly practices. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics, and directly supporting the production system. Primary Responsibilities: Regularly engages with Tool Engineering, Tool Construction, and Tool Industrial Engineering to help determine tool build method, location and Planning Structure. Participates in tooling design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability of new and changing tools. Break down a tool design into its primary components for ordering of raw material. Manage backlog queues using Boeing business systems. Develop and implement process improvements using Lean production methodologies. Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree 8 or more years in Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Design, Tool Construction, or tooling value stream. Basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems. Ability to read a comprehend Boeing tool drawings. Familiar with 3D modeling programs for dimensional measurements. In depth understanding of required tolerances based on fit, form and function. Deep understanding on tool qualification/verification methods. Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery of commitment. Familiarity with GD&T. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience working within the tooling value stream. Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate with both the engineering work force and the mechanics on the factory floor. Excellent communication skills. Familiar with CATIA. Typical Education & Experience: Bachelor\'s with Minimum 8-10 years of experience, Master\'s degree with 6 or more years\' experience in Mechanical / Tooling / Production Engineering.
