Boeing India Engineeringoversees the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of LRU designs for various Avionics systems. This position is located in Bangalore, Karnataka . Primary Responsibilities: This position involves working as a member of the Test Requirements Document (TRD) development team. Should be able to decode System level requirements to generate TRD\'s. Major responsibilities includes all aspects of TRD development including but not limited to reviewing and dis positioning supplier source data for completeness, Identifying/layout of the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) configurations with respect to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) as well as the overall system level, writing detailed semi-complex CCA theory of operations Developing associated block diagrams, developing overall test strategy, developing performance and diagnostic tests to detect and fault isolate to the failed component(s) to meet program fault isolation requirements. Able to Perform On Target Testing which Includes Determining and reviewing Test Cases, Test Procedures, Test Scripts and STE/ATE Testing. This position requires supporting Boeing US team by assisting them in answering TRD questions and resolving test integration issues during the test program set development cycle. Candidate should possess experience in test requirements development and test design for CCA or LRU. Experience in circuit analysis of analog, digital and hybrid circuitry in the avionics LRUs and CCAs and/or reverse engineering of FPGA VHDL codes and/or PLD, EPLD, PAL Abel files and/or JEDEC codes are highly desired. Experience in using LEXSYS versions 2.3.1 and 3.1, and TYX version 1.8 TRD development tools are helpful. Experienced with Cadence/ Mentor Graphics/EMA development tools. Familiarization with Mil- STD 1519 and MDC6024E are helpful. Candidate must be able to develop and maintains technical relationships / partnerships with customers, suppliers, peers,partners and team members to develop collaborative plans and execute on projects. Provide technical oversight of junior employees and suppliers, and lead process improvements. Motivates, develop and mentor junior employees to achieve excellent technical and business outcomes. Provides periodic updates to Boeing management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents. Coordinate and communicate regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world. Support initiatives on engineering excellence, employee development, mentoring, and customer engagement This position will require some travel within India and internationally. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience) Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 10+ years of experience in Systems Electronics Work experience in systems engineering- Electronics Must have experience working with multi-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners. Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones. Communication - strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, Statements of Work, and connect technology to business considerations (e.g., ROI). Candidate must be proficient in English, and familiar with MS Office tools. Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive demeanor, high ethics, and a track record of working efficiently in time constrained environment. Must be very proficient in spoken and written English, and have excellent communication style Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Working Knowledge in SAE ARP 4754 of Systems Engineering and ARP4761 Working Knowledge in managing requirements using DOORs, and SVN Working Knowledge in SAFE Agile process, methodology & Tools Working with Systems Engineering life cycle activities associated with Avionics Systems Displays & FMS Typical Education & Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor\'s and10 or more years\' experience, Master\'s degree with9 or more years\' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
