This organization supports the enterprise.This position is for an Experienced System Design and Integration Specialist- Splunk, and will be focused on delivering business value outcomes for the Splunk team. This position will give you exposure to many different groups in the Boeing company. You will be developing creative solutions for our customer/tenants and the platform.We are a services organization and therefore have wide exposure to all the different businesses within the Boeing company. You will be developing Splunk solutions and set up dashboards, alerts and reports to leverage Splunk s capabilities. You will get to search and analyze a large variety of data from many different organizations.Position Responsibilities:

• Identifies, evaluates and documents basic computing system requirements.
• Assists in the design, build and test of delivery systems and components.
• Provides basic technical support for delivery systems components.
• Performs product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness from the point where it is evaluated through implementation and support, to retirement.
• Uses technical expertise to help business partners and others by answering technical questions regarding the usage, trouble-shooting and functionality of delivery systems products to ensure effective implementation and usage of delivery system products.
• Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex, escalated delivery systems problems.
• Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house.
• Chooses appropriate computing products and methods to ensure requirements are met for security, problem management, capacity/performance management and operational management.
• Documents resolutions/analyses according to support procedures.
• Use Agile and Kanban best practices through Azure Dev Ops (ADO)

• A Bachelors degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• 3+ years of experience with Splunk Search Processing language
• 2+ years of experience in Splunk Administration of Clustered environment
• Experience developing Splunk Knowledge Objects (Alerts, Reports, Dashboards)
• Experience in programming languages like C#, Python
• Knowledge of Linux based systems and shell scripting
• Knowledge of cloud environment architecture is preferable
• Exposure to databases and SQL
• Experience with automation
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and SDLC process

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Basic understanding of GitLab
• Basic understanding of Ansible
• Experience with agile tools like ADO
• Experience building regular expressions
• Basic understanding of XML and ability to edit
• REST API endpoints (Basic understanding of structure and how they are used)
• Requirements validating
