Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for an Experienced Structural and Payloads Design Engineer (Customer Support) to join Maintenance Engineering team in Bangalore, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial (BCA) business organization and offers a unique opportunity to work complex technical challenges in support of safety operation and return to service.A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Maintenance Engineering Team to implement the Structural Repair solutions.Primary Responsibilities:

• Assessing and resolving product/process issues through the product life-cycle.
• Supporting research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.
• Providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to service.

• Working with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformance.
• Assesses complex system events reports to determine potential safety issues.
• Writes documentation of hardware related problems.
• Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Solves problems and provides other support of fielded hardware over the entire product life-cycle.
• Willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule and the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends or overtime.
• Being a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
• Execute work independently without supervision
• Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team. Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world.
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION in one of the streams (Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering) specifying the required streams.
• Experience with airworthiness regulatory agencies.
• Experience supporting end users in a customer service role.

• Experience collaborating with multiple team functions
• Knowledge of payload systems installed on Boeing commercial airplane models (software and hardware) as it applies to maintenance and operations
• Knowledge of repair, maintenance and retrofit processes and practices
• Knowledge of airplane\xe2\x80\x99s maintenance and flight operation documentation
• Knowledge of the Airworthiness Directives and related Service documents
• Experience in system\xe2\x80\x99s failure analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting on Boeing commercial airplane models.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 10 or more years of experience in Structures Engineering.
• Experience supporting end users in a customer service role.
• Experience in use of PDM/PLM tools such as ENOVIA or Team Center
• Experience working with MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures.
• Experience working transport category airplane certification or production/fleet support projects involving FAA approval.

Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor\'s with Minimum 10-12 years of experience/Master\'s degree with 8 or more years\' experience in Mechanical / Structural / Aeronautical Engineering.Relocation:This position offers relocation within India based on eligibility.
