As a Security Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our software products and systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing security tests, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations to enhance the overall security posture of our test platform. • Develop and execute comprehensive security test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our test platform.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in software applications, systems, and networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand security requirements and incorporate them into the test strategy and test cases.
• Perform code reviews and analyze security configurations to identify potential security flaws and suggest improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure the test platform remains secure against emerging threats.
• Document and communicate security test results, including identified vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation strategies.
• Work closely with developers and application architects to address security issues and provide guidance on secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to integrate security testing into the overall testing process and ensure security requirements are met.
• Participate in security incident response activities, including investigating and resolving security-related incidents.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of security testing methodologies, tools, and processes within the Test Platform organization.
• Own, Track and actively manage the security related test methodologies and test cases along with functional test cases.
• Understand the software security design and architectural decisions for software applications/APIs.
• Should have demonstrated ability to work in an AGILE environment.
• The selected individual will be a skilled, highly professional engineer, work collaboratively with an international team comprising software development, product management, and business analysis.
• Adapt the industry best practices for security testing.
• Work closely with Cyber Security Architects in defining and implementing the Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM)

• \xe2\x80\xa2 A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

• Proven experience in performing security testing for both Web, Desktop and Mobile apps
• Well versed in Security Testing tools include \xe2\x80\x93 OWASP Zed Attack Proxy, Invicti (Netsparker) etc.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in performing Unit testing for security, Static application security testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Interactive application security testing (IAST), Fuzz testing & brute forcing, and Penetration testing.
• Experience in Secure Deployment and operations, System hardening, Runtime Application security protection, Security monitoring and Encryptions
• Well versed in SAMM model and deployment at enterprise level.
• Understanding of threat modeling for Software products preferably cloud scale API applications.
• Hands on experience in DecSecOps methodologies
• Expertise in secure software development practices
• Expertise in programming/scripting in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and quick & effective adjustment to shifting priorities.
• Have experience in ALM tools.
• Working exposure with Agile (Scrum & SAFe) and DevOps is a must.
• Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development life cycle
