OverviewThe Expat Hiring - IB PYP Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) curriculum in an international school setting. This role involves leading and coordinating the implementation of the IB PYP curriculum while ensuring a seamless transition for expatriate students. The position requires strong leadership and cross-cultural communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and support the educational needs of expatriate students.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the IB PYP curriculum within the international school.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure alignment with IB PYP standards and practices.
  • Facilitate professional development for faculty to enhance their understanding and delivery of the IB PYP curriculum.
  • Support expatriate students in adapting to the IB PYP framework and provide academic guidance.
  • Coordinate with the IB organization and other international schools to stay abreast of best practices and developments in IB PYP education.
  • Manage assessment processes to monitor student progress and ensure adherence to IB PYP standards.
  • Engage with parents to provide updates on their children\'s progress within the IB PYP curriculum.

Required Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator certification or equivalent accreditation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an IB PYP school environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing the IB PYP curriculum.
  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably in an international context.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and initiatives related to curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of international education standards and best practices.
  • Experience in conducting professional development for educators.
