  • The Project Leader will support the project on a business-critical global compliance project. They will work with cross functional team(s) to identify delivery tasks / milestones for each of the workstreams and track through implementation.
  • They will assist with project documentation preparation/ control and assist as required to coordinate the project through the planning and implementation phases of the project
SECTION 2: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Works with the Project manager to co-ordinate all project activities
  • Identify the major project tasks/ milestones, timelines and owners to support the project deployment date in collaboration with all workstream leads.
  • Develop / maintain full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
  • Monitor progress of all major tasks/ milestones through to completion with all project team members and other assigned owners to maintain accurate visibility of project status
  • Report/ escalate any slippage that impacts the planned deployment dates.
  • Identify the critical path and work with team pull in / maintain completion dates
  • Work with Project manager & Workstream Leads on establishing test plans, resourcing plans and progress reporting
  • Manage / coordination of documentation for change control, risks/ mitigation plans, and contingency plans
  • Continuous Improvement Focus
  • Adhere to the DePuy project management methodology
  • Applies in-depth Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering knowledge by ensuring that project plans are comprehensively reviewed, implemented, and completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Reviews, under limited supervision, detailed engineering project plans that will lead to improved performance and efficiencies by capitalizing on standard project management tools.
  • Edits and summarizes relevant manufacturing data into broadly-understandable terms to communicate project progress with leadership.
  • Ensures effective and efficient use of project engineering tools and techniques to solve opportunities.
  • Reports status on assigned projects in various formats to various organizational levels.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.xe2x80x8b
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnsons Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
  • Leading and supporting investigations into process-related problems
  • Contribute to our digital transformation (e.g. digitization and automation of reports, data management, visualization, evaluation of new technologies)
  • Propose and implement cost improvement projects
SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*Required Skills:
  • Experienced in a Medical Device and/or supervised manufacturing work environment
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills & demonstrated ability to operate as part of a team (written and oral).
  • Working knowledge and strategy in drafting and performing process/equipment validations (IQ, OQ, PQ, CSV, TMV)
  • Track record of innovation and adaptability in project execution, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven competence to evaluate communicate and act upon significant risks, demonstrating leadership of the high standards of quality and compliance
  • Act with speed, flexibility, and accountability to achieve goals. Understands how own work impacts the enterprise and use understanding to make effective decisions and take actions and lead priorities effectively to deliver expected results
  • Ability to work in a global organization and collaborate with multiple partners
Preferred Skills:
  • E2E supply chain knowledge and experience
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab) preferred
Other:
  • Proficient in communication and business in English, required
Education/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree or University degree required; focused degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or in a supply-chain related field preferred.
