Elsevier STMJ Marketing is supporting publishing with content acquisition marketing towards researchers in their role of authors, reviewers, and editors. Main objective is to attract the best quality papers to publish in the Elsevier journals. Marketing within STMJ is organized in three groups STMJ Marketing (MCRED) supports all journals except for The Lancet -which is supported by The Lancet marketing team- and Cell Press - which is supported by the Cell Press Marketing team. Marketing activities entail both marketing of physical events (conferences and exhibits marketing) and digital marketing activities. A subset of the marketing execution is centrally organized within MCRED like email campaign execution and exhibit coordination. Within the STMJ MKT (MCRED) the role of the emarketing /marketing operations team (15+ FTE\'s) is to support the marketing communication managers that work on the portfolio and the project managers that work on the central campaigns with executing parts of the marketing programs. Exhibit presence is one of the channels that STMJ use to reach researchers and other stakeholders and develop and maintain a relation with the community Elsevier STMJ serves. The role of the Exhibitions Coordinator is to support the Marketing Communications Department (within the STM Journals division) via provision of efficient, effective management of exhibits presence as required by the business. Management of high quality online and offline marketing tasks and services to support current and evolving departmental goals and strategy. Definition and development of existing and new workflows and systems to provide best practice outputs and effective delivery in an optimised manner. The Exhibitions Coordinator is responsible for the exhibition\'s presence of up to 50 exhibitions of various complexity on an annual basis. He/she develops the operational exhibitions plan with marketing and executes based on needs. The Exhibition Executive actively partners with internal stakeholders to help achieve Elsevier\'s business objectives. In addition, the job holder will independently manage improvement and or reporting projects as well as exploring potential innovative ways to further advance the exhibit presence of Elsevier. Key Result Areas/ Main Activities and Responsibilities: Exhibitions planning / communication: Organize and chair the launch meetings with all stakeholders. Collect and document the needs of the stakeholder(s) for the exhibition and document those. Book booth space, if required. Ability to take on marketing tasks in case the stakeholders do not have a marketing function, for example decide on booth space, design graphics according to Elsevier branding guidelines. Input exhibition information into the in-house database Effective and timely communication with exhibits stakeholders through the exhibit lifecycle.\' Exhibition design Design a booth plan and pro-actively advise on alternatives to ensure booths optimise the use of company branding within the given budget. Place exhibitions orders (e.g. booth rental, furnishings, electricity, internet, badges) Coordinate graphics, presentations, booth receptions/meetings, and other event-related components for multiple internal Elsevier client groups. Exhibition logistics Create exhibition orders for journals and promotional materials to be shipped. Decide on consolidation hub Send out exhibit kit/information pack Actively monitor the shipments, confirm arrival, and provide tracking information to all stakeholders.\' Financial Management Responsible for ensuring exhibitions are planned within marketing budgets. Manage expectations on cost with stakeholders and provide clear reporting. Advise on cost effective alternatives for booth set-up Arrange payments and ensure accurate and timely allocation of exhibitions cost in Elsevier finance systems. Data management Gather the attendance and viewing data for on-line and virtual shows Use internal and external tools to analyze the data (eg Adobe Analytics) Create dashboards to present data to internal stakeholders\' Contribution to marketing strategy and campaigns Effective management and delivery of marketing related tasks and campaigns Management or contribution to projects as required Team collaboration/contribution: Active participation in and contribution to team meetings.
