• The Senior Executive/ Specialist Technical Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent within the marine & oil and gas industry in a diversity of roles and functions - technical, sales, operations, accounts, service, management trainees.
• This role requires a deep understanding of the technical and specialized roles in the marine sector, along with strong sourcing, interviewing, and hiring skills based on our "WHO method"
• A TA will work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to fill open positions with qualified candidates.
• Drive successful talent acquisition, support organizational growth, and create a competitive advantage by learning effective human resource management.
• This role grows & develops into a key HR position, leading talent acquisition and driving various HR operations to directly impact the company's long-term growth and success.

• Understanding the Business and accordingly hiring the prospective candidates with regards to technical & cultural fit for the position.
• Handling multiple aspects of maintaining a service-orientedness and solving challenges related to people practices across the Organization
Key Linkages - Whom does the person work with - internal and external:
Internal: The candidate will have access to the Senior-most Management - Directors, Head of Departments.
External: Contact Points will be Recruitment agencies, colleges and candidates etc.
Key Results (What will I be accountable for?) and Activities (What will I do?):
Recruitment: "Recruit and onboard A- Player for key positions within 30-45 days of Requisition.
• Ensure high-quality talent is sourced, recruited, and onboarded within defined timelines and business requirements using the "WHO" hiring framework.
• Source and screen resumes from various platforms, including job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn), referrals, social media, and shortlist candidates through telephonic or virtual interviews.
• Coordinate and schedule interview appointments with hiring managers.
• Build Future pipeline for positions that are not currently open, and networks to source the best candidates, keeping track of their status.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and closures.
• Conduct reference and background checks on shortlisted candidates to verify their qualifications and suitability for the role.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement & efficiency in recruitment operations.
• Develop relationships with industry professionals, academic institutions, and relevant recruitment agencies to enhance sourcing capabilities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.
• Handle External recruitment agencies and take daily stock on sourcing and resumes from them.
HR Operations & MIS
• Assist Senior HRBPs with operations related to the employee lifecycle, administrative tasks including engagement activities.
• Verify documents during employee onboarding, ensure induction as per the onboarding checklist, and Maintain and update employee files and databases in both physical formats and Google Drive.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS.
• Provide regular updates on recruitment activities, metrics & outcomes to HR leadership.
Knowledge/Skills/Behaviors the Candidate Should Possess: Must Have (M)/ Nice to Have(N)
Knowledge (Functional and Non-Technical):
• 2-4 years of experience in recruitment and onboarding employees in engineering, heavy industries, manufacturing, marine, oil & gas, machinery or related B2B industries. -(M)
• Track record of closing 1-2 positions within 1 months from the date of requisition using references, contacts, social media and job portals across various functions. -(M)
Skills (Functional and Non-Technical):
• Fluency in English Communication. Able to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and persuade others. -(M)
