Job Description


Role Title: Executive - Warranty Audit.Reporting Manager: Deputy General ManagerLocation: MumbaiPurpose of the Role:To be responsible for analysis & auditing all categories of warranty claims and Conducting audits at Channel Partner (Dealers) locations.The Job requires travelling to different locations ~10-15 days in a month.Job Responsibilities:Warranty and Spare Parts Claim settlement (Domestic)Number of audits% of claims auditedAudit report closures & Recovery.

  • Scrutinizing the settled claims for correctness & trends for identifying set-ups for audits.
  • Highlighting the major errors and mistakes in warranty claims to the concerned teams; TMLBSL, SSH, CSM, Channel Partner & process owners oncase-to-case basis
  • Guiding/Training Channel Partner for identifying the correct field codes, make codes, pay-out discrepancies; Material / labour value incorrectness.
  • Guiding the team in resolution of audit observation of warranty-related issues (any category) raised by various stakeholders (Dealers, TASSes, TML field team etc.)
  • Verifying e-NFA for warranty / FSB discrepancies
  • Auditing workshops for Warranty & Free Service Claims
  • Analysis/Verification of dealers request to credit difference amounts wherever the claims are settled with incorrect value
Handling implications due to introduction of Service TaxPrompt resolution
  • Handling the free service & warranty claim transmission errors by understanding the error and communicating/guiding the channel partners regarding the same
  • Guiding the dealers about the implications and the change process because of the introduction of G.S.T. regulatory norms.
  • Analysing the dump of customer / vendor financial accounts & identifying the problem area and taking up for resolution.

  • Conducting the audits on warranty, FSB process and claim settlement issues.
  • Taking up with concerned Channel Partners for discrepancy / process non adherence.
  • Taking up with SHQ & IT system teams for plugging gaps/ BRD for redesign & system locks.
  • Service process audits to ensure Policy & process adherence. To participate in SHQ meetings held with TMLBSL , CRM, IT Teams for revamping the Warranty & Free Service system
Other Activities-Timely response-Timely Updation
  • To participate in SHQ meetings held with TMLBSL , CRM, IT Teams for revamping the Warranty & Free Service system
  • To resolve the Channel Partners issues related to Warranty & Free servicematters referred by Tata Connect Teams
  • Participate in the Warranty Policy and Procedure manual by giving inputs, reviewing, proof-reading etc.

  • Educational Qualification :Engineering / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical /ICWA
  • Language Proficiency :English & Hindi
  • Experience Required :5-6 years in field of warranty claim settlement, analysis / Audit

  • SAP , CRMDMS systems
