The Finance function operates as a global team through the partnership of a series of enterprise-focused and business-embedded groups.For more details about the Function please visit thisPurpose of the roleThis position is responsible to make prompt and accurate accounting of Customer Invoices and to manage Customer Aged trail balance as per the agreed SLAxe2x80x99s/ Goals. This role requires functional expertise in finance and accounting, communication skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. This position is responsible for managing the administrative and product delivery issues and service-related deductions for one or more General Millsxe2x80x99 customers. Forge relationships with the ICS CTA in Minneapolis to ensure smooth day to day functioning. Adherence to all audit control requirements and SOX requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESOperation Managementxc2xb7 Manage process for non-trade deductions.xc2xb7 Conduct In-depth research & analysis on deductions and maintaining the ageing report.xc2xb7 Reconcile invoices received from General Millsxe2x80x99 Customers to the corresponding plans and update the information to reflect actual performance to either issue a check to a customer or clear a deduction on the accountxe2x80x99s trial balance.xc2xb7 Maintain an accurate and current accounts receivable trail balance.xc2xb7 Gain an in-depth knowledge of Customer details as well as comprehensive understanding of GMI Products/ groups.xc2xb7 Identify and own the issue resolution for potential Service AR issues of the customers.xc2xb7 Pivotal role in AR identification, coding and clearing.xc2xb7 Ensure accurate payment to customer in timely manner.xc2xb7 Aid in resolving issues relating to Order Management. (Damage, Shortage, Unsaleable etc.)xc2xb7 Liaison Process Analyst, SFT and CTA for query solving on research or unique customer behavior that need intervention.xc2xb7 Develop expertise in utilizing customer specific websites for sourcing customer support/documentation.xc2xb7 Provide issue resolution relating to customer invoices, deductions, and payment.xc2xb7 Ad hoc assigned should be executed well with successful results.xc2xb7 Drive Continuous improvement within process and deliver HMM by gaining customer and process expertise.xc2xb7 Develop an expertise for assigned regions/customers.xc2xb7 Build relationships with the stakeholders to ensure smooth day to day functioning.xc2xb7 Adherence to all audit control requirements and SOX requirements.Knowledge management:xc2xb7 Ensure accurate documentation of the process and customer specific behavior exceptionsxc2xb7 Timely review and highlight to Process Analyst of deviations and standardization opportunitiesContinue to focus on Professional Career DevelopmentMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSxc2xb7 Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory)xc2xb7 Preferred Major Area of Study: Finance & Accountancyxc2xb7 2-3 years of related experienceSpecific Job Experience or Skills Neededxc2xb7 Basic understanding of finance and accounting with more focus on Accounts receivable Management.xc2xb7 SAP Knowledge, MS Office etc. Basic Excel manipulation and analysis skills (i.e., skilled at VLOOKUP, pivot table, charts / graphs)xc2xb7 Strong customer relations, articulation & communication skillsxc2xb7 Effective Communication - Clearly articulates views in written and verbal discussions.
