Purpose of job:
To provide the first line of support pertaining to background verification of roles and candidates, across the British Council delivering quality customer service. Primarily to cater to background screening work for the sanctioned countries

Process Screening Requests
Validate 2nd level documents Check
Monitor screening progress on the Screening Partner portal
Update progress using internal logs
Verification with third parties and candidate
Analyse the risks from the discrepancies in screening using British Council Escalation Matrix
Investigate screening anomalies using British Council Escalation Matrix
Provide the Screening Owner with data for the Risk Review Report
Create and complete candidate checklist
Record Keeping and Retention
Keep a record of the daily activity
Keep a record of emails and maintain Screening mailbox
Keep a record of issues and escalations
Extraction of data and completing candidate file
Purging data after a defined period
Delivering personnel files to HR
Relationship Management
Use of defined escalation point
Regular update with defined Screening Owner
High-Level update with Global Background Screening Lead
Qualifications:
