Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Executive Sales and Marketing professional with experience in the agribusiness sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and fostering long-term relationships with clients in the agricultural industry. The candidate will work closely with farmers, agri-dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders to promote products and solutions that enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets in the agribusiness sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets or segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including farmers, agronomists, cooperatives, distributors, and industry partners.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns tailored to the agribusiness sector to generate demand for products and services.
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their challenges and providing tailored solutions.
• Work with the customer service and support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular field visits to understand customer pain points, gather feedback, and identify new product or service requirements
• Manage the sales pipeline and prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for senior management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and technological advancements in agriculture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing efforts with product launches, innovations, and upgrades.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on product benefits, sustainability practices, and how to optimize yield and efficiency using the company's offerings.
• Other work assigned by the company.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree/Master in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Agronomy, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, specifically in the agribusiness or agricultural products industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market presence in the agricultural sector.
• Experience working with farmers, agri-dealers, cooperatives, and distributors.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of agriculture markets, products (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, etc.), and current trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to rural areas and remote locations.
