Job Highlights

• This role oversees the accurate management and upkeep of Fixed Assets, IFRS16 Lease Accounting and Inventory for India and overseas legal entities. They're also tasked with facilitating timely closures aligned with IFRS (HB2) and INDAS (HB1) standards, while providing essential support during audits for both HB2 and HB1 compliance
• Ensure correct accounting of inventory & product costing as per IFRS
+ Validation of quarterly inventory actualization / inventory provisions and posting of adjustments
+ Coordinates with Business Units & Logistics to capture major inventory discrepancies qualitative as well as quantitative. Keep track of any damaged / offspec material; and corresponding booking of manual provisions.
+ Ensuring physical stock count activity cycle as per Global Guidelines and Timelines. Including accurate updation in SAP

• IFRS16 Lease Accounting:
> Timely accounting of IFRS 16 Lease contracts within SAP
> Performing regular reconciliations between lease accounting records, general ledger accounts, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of lease-related financial information.
>Handling lease modifications, terminations, and other lease-related events by assessing their accounting implications, making necessary adjustments, and updating lease records accordingly.
> Ensuring compliance with lease disclosure requirements under IFRS 16 by preparing relevant notes to financial statements and other disclosures as required by accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting and Audit
>Assist in the preparation for and facilitation of audits related to HB2 and HB1 compliance
>Provide documentation and explanations as required during audits to ensure transparency and accuracy.
>Providing required HB1 financials details and support for Cost, GST audit & for Income Tax and Transfer pricing audit / assessments.
Requirements

• Specific Education - B. Com / M.Com / Inter CMA
• Work Experience - 3-5 years of experience
• Special Skills- Proven experience in Fixed Assets, IFRS 16 Lease accounting, Inventory accounting and related compliance, preferably in a corporate environment
+ Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems preferably SAP, with advanced Excel skills.
- Reliability, High attention to detail, Number affinity, Process oriented
- Good Communication skills
