Job Summary:
The Executive - Recruitment, Payroll, and Statutory Compliance will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, payroll administration, and ensuring compliance with statutory laws and regulations. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational and communication skills to support the HR department in all relevant activities.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment:
• Coordinate and manage the entire recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
• Liaise with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure a smooth hiring process.
• Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future recruitment needs.
• Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.
• Ensure timely and effective onboarding for new hires, including orientation and documentation.
2. Payroll Administration:
• Handle the monthly payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
• Verify timesheets, attendance, and overtime data for payroll processing.
• Manage employee benefits such as bonuses, incentives, and deductions.
• Maintain and update salary records, addressing any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to payroll.
3. Statutory Compliance:
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity, Labor Laws, etc.).
• Prepare and file statutory returns, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax, etc.
• Liaise with statutory authorities, auditors, and government bodies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain records and documentation related to compliance matters.
• Stay updated on changes to labor laws and ensure that the organization complies with all regulations.
4. HR Data Management:
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR management system (HRMS).
• Generate and analyze HR reports related to recruitment, payroll, and compliance.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of employee data.
5. Employee Relations:
• Address employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and statutory deductions.
• Provide support on any HR-related inquiries and concerns.
• Support in conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Additional certifications in Payroll Management, HR Compliance, or related areas would be an advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, payroll administration, and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and payroll systems.
• Familiarity with HRMS and payroll software is preferred.
