Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive - Purchase to join our team at Filtrec Bharat Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. As an Executive - Purchase, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services to meet the company\'s requirements. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of procurement best practices, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role, with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of technical specifications and requirements
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with ISO specifications and quality control procedures
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies that ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain positive relationships
  • Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide timely and accurate updates on order status
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary materials and supplies
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
  • Participate in supplier audits and performance evaluations
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures
