Report to - Category Manager (Spend Management)
Internal Customers - BSS, Plant, Finance Team, Marketing, RTM & All support functions.
External Customers - Suppliers

Job description

  • End-to-end responsible for procurement of indirect purchases (all types of service activities, MRO, marketing spends, professional services, recruitment-related services, etc. that need support functions to run the routing operations, as well as capex and project-related spend) from domestic and global markets.
  • Attention to detail and strong negotiation skills, stackholder management, communication skills, and time management are crucial parts of the role. Exceptional attention to detail and handling escalation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand their purchase needs, create the inquiry, and float RFQs to vendors.
  • Analyse supplier quotes and negotiate quality, price, payment terms, delivery lead time of materials or services, and other critical and controlled terms to ensure the best supplier selection along with new vendor developments.
  • Release purchase orders and monitor all POs through reports to ensure the timely delivery of products and services. Also ensure that the vendor will submit the correct invoice and submit the HCCB on time.
  • Resolve any discrepancies during the P2P process immediately and coordinate with the respective stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Finance to submit vendor invoices, resolve any invoice-related discrepancies, and track payments.
  • Should be able to drive the execution of critical tactical things.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the P2P and S2P processes such as sourcing, procurement, contracts, and supplier information management, and hands-on experience with digital procurement tools (Oracle, Ariba, Coupa/GEP Smart).
  • Cost Management: Work with suppliers to identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities in line with agreed contracts through the deployment of relevant cost models.
  • Processes and Procedures: Accountable for compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring all purchasing records and documentation are correct and maintained in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the function, in order to support functional priorities.
  • Supplier Code of Conduct: Responsible for understanding supplier obligations contained in the Global Supplier Code of Conduct and addressing any supplier compliance concerns through direct action or escalation. Responsible for ensuring that supplier compliance with the Global Supplier Code of Conduct is maintained.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and Qualifications
1. Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university, preferably in engineering, supply chain management, or master\'s business administration.
2. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with various teams and be an expert in Excel, PPT, and analytics.
3. Strong negotiation skills to ensure purchase activities are performed within the allocated budget.
4. Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain a strong relationship with internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
1. Ability to work independently, take ownership, drive results, navigate through an unstructured environment, and ensure deadlines are met.
6. Strong analytical skills with excellent experience in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and good presentation skills) and familiarity with software operations, preferably in SAP, SFDC, and ARIBA

Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years\' experience in procurement management and vendor management in FMCG, beverages, or pharmaceutical companies; experience in a technology environment is preferred.
