Function Overview
The Finance organization partners across General Mills to provide financial expertise to guide and govern the company. We bring a distinctive skill set to help the company sustainably drive strong returns on investment, whether thats brand investments, capital investments or resource investments. Purpose of the role
Job Overview-
  • Monitoring daily bank positions.
  • Tracking & ensure Compliance with RBI regulations related to import & export.
  • Correspondence with Bank.
  • Question, recommend, influence and lead process changes to enhance team / process efficiency.
  • Accounting entries related to banking transactions.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



70% of Time - Monitoring daily Bank positions.
  • Getting quotes from Banks and internal approvals for loans.
  • Ensuring disbursement and repayment with necessary approvals.
  • Correspondence with Bank.
  • Tracking & ensure Compliance with RBI regulations related to import & export.
  • Updating Bank account signatory & KYC.
  • Co-ordinating with Bank for statement requirement, documentation, statutory audit requirement
  • Co-ordination with export team for export data & arranging shipping bills/ BRC.
  • Other ad-hoc activities related to co-ordination with Bank- Example:- NOC.
  • Signatory review
  • Accounting entries related to Banking transactions.
  • Support in stat audit.

20% of Time - Ensure timely preparation of business reports and sharing same with Business
  • Identify, initiate, & implement process improvement ideas, Initiate & implement macros in process to track execution data using tools like MS-Access, Excel.

10% of Time - Control on scan/ physical documents- Record Retention
  • Ensure Invoice tracker and other trackers are updated daily
  • Co-ordinate with Recall / Binder for retrieval of documents




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
  • Minimum years of related experience required: 1-2 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: Accountancy, Banking & Finance
  • Preferred years of related experience: 3 -4 years

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
  • Has worked in Indian Accounting process.
  • Has knowledge of banking & treasury operations.

  • Leading Innovation by identifying and suggesting process improvements
  • Financial acumen

Additional Information
Advanced MS Office computer skills preferred (Word, Excel - must, Access, Outlook, SharePoint)
