Responsible for meticulously verifying account opening and modification forms, along with accompanying KYC documents, ensuring correctness and completeness.
Coordinate timely processing, follow-up on discrepancies, and escalate exceptions as necessary.
Facilitate post-KYC communication with relevant exchanges and KRA entities.
Responsibilities:
Document Verification:
Thoroughly review account opening and modification forms, along with KYC supporting documents, for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure adherence to KYC guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Timely Processing:
Process all verification requests within specified Turnaround Time (TAT), maintaining efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to expedite the verification process.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Identify and address any discrepancies promptly, coordinating with the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor for further action.
Post-KYC Communication:
Facilitate communication with exchanges (NSEE/BSE) and CVL KRA as needed post-KYC verification.
Ensure compliance with exchange and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with branches and business stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of verification requests.
Stay informed about relevant processes and procedures, providing input for continuous improvement.
Process Improvement and Cost Saving:
Suggest ideas for process enhancement and cost-saving initiatives based on observed inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the document verification unit.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in document verification processes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet TAT requirements.
Knowledge of KYC regulations and procedures preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
