To manage day to day insurance operations including claims handling, policy renewals, accounting, coordination with stake
holders and ensuring compliance with internal processes and timelines
Insurance Claims handling Handle claims across various lines of Insurance (Transit, Property, Employee benefits, etc.)
Liaise with Insurance companies, TPAs, surveyors, and internal teams for timely processing and closure of insurance claims within defined SLAs
Track claim status and documentation through the insurance portal and excel
MIS and Reporting
Maintain accurate MIS of premiums paid and claims made at policy level
Prepare monthly review reports highlighting key metrics and issues as per defined timelines
Accounting
Record insurance related accounting entries including premiums, provisions
Follow up with insurance companies for insurance policies, endorsements and GST compliant invoices
Ensure timely closure of open advances and quarterly balance confirmations
Maintain proper documentation of all insurance policies and endorsements
Insurance policy renewals
Supporting renewal and placing of insurance policies by creating repository of last five years insurance policies, sum insured, premium paid and claims under each of the policies
Support the insurance competitive quote process
Capex Project Funding
Facilitate capex funding for approved proposals in accordance with defined SLAs and updating the funding tracker
Query Management
Respond to insurance-related queries from internal functions as per defined SLAs
Stakeholder coordination
Initiate fortnightly review meetings with insurers for Transit claim pending closures as per SLAs
* Coordinate with Plant HR, TPAs, and brokers on Employee Benefit claim pendency and closure
