Purpose of the position
This role is responsible to work with the relevant teams to award the portfolio of contracts in order to maximize added value from 3rd Party Goods and Services and achieve business objectives in a timely manner within TML procurement procedures.

Education- Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience

Relevant Experience:
1.Experience 3-7 years of relevant experience
2.Negotiation with Service Partners, Transporters,3PL Logistic Providers based on ZBC,
target costing.
3.Vendor development and relationship management.
4.Route Mapping, Logistic Network design for various transportation models and
vehicle types.
5.Ability to handle Purchase for PAN India Domestic Transportation- Road, Air and Train
6.Ability to handle Purchase for PAN India Warehouse and 3PL Operations.
7.Should be able to visualise market dynamics wrt Logistics and accordingly propose
Logistic solutions.
8.Ability to represent Logistics Sourcing team in various CFT and forums.
9.Should be able to prepare business case for senior leadership review.
10.Should be able to work with agility and quick response time to internal customers
and outside service partners.
11.Logistics MIS generation wrt Purchase.

1-Strategy Development
1.Prepare costing for the routes and vehicle types.
2.Identify vendors with advance technology, prepare business plan and validation of vendors and initiate vendor empanelment process.
3.Review Technical specifications in order to shortlist vendors.
4.Prepare RFQ document for floating to Vendors.
5.Analyse quotation received for RFQ.
6.Prepare Cost Estimate for parts as per TML Standard Cost Estimation Process.
7.Propose a shortlist of most suitable vendors after negotiation.
8.Recommend SOB for vendors as per organizations long term sourcing strategy.
9.Obtain internal approval for vendor finalization through sourcing council and release PO.
10.Monitor and Review financial health, operations, IR health, etc. of the suppliers for long-term sustainability.
11.Identify vendors, which can be groomed as long-term partners for TML.
2-Finance Management
1.Collaborate with Operations for cost reduction initiatives.
2.Evaluate vendors to track target cost, in case of cost escalation / quality issues initiate re-sourcing along with Operations
3.Drive cost reduction through Commercial reduction, Resourcing & SOB mix
4.Track Logistics commodity prices for costing references.
3-People Management
1.Effective communication and interaction with the stakeholders to ensure proper process and necessary improvements to achieve optimal performance.
