Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the hospital's IT department.
• Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of hospital data and IT systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Provide technical support to hospital staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Develop and manage the IT budget.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs.
• Implement new technologies to improve patient care and hospital efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems.
• Manage IT projects from inception to completion.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in the healthcare industry.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Conduct regular audits of IT systems and processes.

• Provide training and support to hospital staff on new technologies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
• Prepare and present reports on IT performance and initiatives to hospital leadership.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems and regulations.
• Proven track record of managing IT teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
