Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

Job Overview:
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. This role includes managing a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that the property is maintained to exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Management:
Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Create work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Standards and Quality Control:
Maintain and enforce cleanliness and sanitation standards in all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to property standards.
• Inventory and Supply Management:
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment. Place orders as needed and control costs.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all supplies and equipment.
• Guest Satisfaction:
Address and resolve guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Administrative Duties:
Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including labor and supply costs.
Maintain records of staff attendance, performance, and training.
• Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all housekeeping procedures comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety training and ensure that all staff are knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
• Communication:
Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate guest services and special requests.
Provide regular updates to management on departmental performance and issues.
Qualifications:
• Education: relevant certifications or courses in hospitality management preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and understanding of sanitation procedures.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
