Job Overview:Le Roma Gardenia, a premier luxury hotel in Bangalore, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: * Leadership and Team Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff.
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s standards of cleanliness and service excellence.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the housekeeping team to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Budget and Inventory Management:
  • Manage the housekeeping budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment costs.
  • Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and usage.
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Training and Development:
  • Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the hotel.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Health and Safety:
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to safety protocols and hotel policies, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by enforcing hygiene standards and conducting regular safety audits.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or issues that could affect guest safety or comfort.
  • Sustainability Initiatives:
  • Implement eco-friendly practices within the housekeeping department, such as reducing waste and using environmentally safe cleaning products.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives to guests and staff, contributing to the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s overall environmental goals.
  • Guest Relations:
  • Work closely with the front office and guest services teams to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Address and follow up on guest feedback, ensuring their stay is memorable for the right reasons.
  • Enhance the guest experience by maintaining a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail in all areas of the hotel.
  • Reporting and Administration:
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on housekeeping operations, including performance metrics, budget adherence, and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, staff attendance, and training activities.
  • Participate in management meetings to discuss departmental performance and contribute to overall hotel strategies.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in housekeeping management or hospitality are an advantage.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
