Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Executive Finance will be responsible for supporting in all financial activities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, taxation, and reporting practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Taxation and Compliance:

• Support in tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with all tax regulations (income tax, GST/VAT, etc).
• Coordinate tax filings, audits, and assessments with external tax advisors.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and their implications for the industry.

Internal Controls and Audit Management:

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Coordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors.

Financial Systems and Process Improvement:

• Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Recommend and help in implementing improvements in financial reporting and analysis.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify financial risks and support to develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Support in ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Legal departments.
• Support senior members of the finance team, fostering professional development.

Required skills and qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-1 year of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in tax planning, compliance, and audits.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
