Position: Executive - Engineering (Electrical & Automation)Location: AnkleshwarDepartment: EngineeringReporting to: Engineering ManagerCriteria:

  • B.E(Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation) with 8 + years of experience in Automation (min 3 years independently handling Electrical & Automation Department) Preferably from Heavy Industries , Glass industry, Cement, Petrochemicals, Ferrous & Non-ferrous industries, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Tyre, Continuous process Indz etc.
  • To have act knowledge and experience of dealing with government and administrative bodies in related fields.
  • Exposure to Liasioning and regulations related to State Electricity Board
  • Should be able to communicate across levels.
Mandatory Skill:
  • Conversant with Allen Bradley & Siemens PLCs - set up, programming, networking and communication, SCADA systems, AC, DC and Servo drive sizing & configuration.
  • Good understanding of all Process control and analytical instrumentation in continuous process industries
  • Experience in Power systems and controls
  • System house of Siemens/Rockwell
Objective:Plan, Organise, coordinate, and monitor Electrical activities in Plant to achieve maximum availability of plant at optimum cost & monitor implementation of electrical maintenance related works within the time schedule & budgeted cost to meet the desired improvements. Well versed in maintenance of 132 KV, Switch Yard, Utilities, Electrical substations, UPS and regenerative type of furnace. Good exposure to working with Diesel Generator sets of 2.5 MW capacities and above.Job Requirement :
  • Organize and monitor implementation activities for optimum plant availability of all equipment and machineries for Sand Plant, Float glass & Mirror Line to meet the targeted production and satisfaction of internal customers.
  • Plan, monitor & control the cost (spare, inventory, repairs & manpower) of electrical maintenance and optimize maintenance costs within the budget.
  • Organize, coordinate & monitor execution & commissioning of small projects and major modifications works in time to achieve targeted results.
  • Identify, coordinate & monitor implementation of improvements, small projects in order to improve the availability and reduce cost of maintenance.

Principal accountabilities :
  • Organize and monitor implementation activities for optimum availability of Plant
  • Plan monitor & control cost (spare, inventory, repair & manpower) of electrical maintenance activities in department to optimize cost.
  • Organize & monitor implementation of standards set by the regulatory authorities under various acts like Safety, pollution, radiation, weights & measurements, communication sustains to fulfil statutory requirements.
  • Plan, suggest and implement new projects and improvement initiatives as per management plan.
  • Build & sustain a conducive work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth and motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the unit
  • Conversant with Quality management systems
