Vedantu is supported and backed by top VCs that includes Tiger Global, Accel Partners and Omidyar Network Job Summary: The Videographer and Video Editor, YouTube Creative Content will be responsible for producing YouTube Content assets using video shooting, video editing and motion graphics across various content and marketing requirements under the supervision of Vedantu Master Teacher. Additional responsibilities include design research, project management, team collaboration, peer to peer review and following the vision and mission for visual design in creative content. Key Responsibilities: 1. Create engaging academic and puller video content for YouTube featuring Vedantu Master Teacher, including long-form videos and shorts by shooting and editing content. Enhance the content with static graphics, motion graphics, sound effects, and animation. 2. Design captivating static graphics, thumbnails, community posts, posters and other necessary YouTube assets related to the produced video content. 3. Develop essential video assets like b-rolls, raw lineups, linear edits, intros, outros, and templates. 4. Utilize shooting, editing and design theories, practices, and methods to visualize scripts and storyboard effectively. 5. Efficiently manage your tasks in the video production and post-production pipeline, ensuring adherence to shooting and editing guidelines, standards, and documentation. 6. Oversee asset management and maintenance across various projects, ensuring quality control, packaging, and timely delivery. 7. Stay updated with the latest tools, trends, and best practices in videography, video editing, graphics, and visual design to implement innovative techniques. 8. Embrace and execute the team\'s and product\'s vision, contributing to the transformative impact of education through creativity. Qualifications: 1. 3-5 years of video shooting and editing work experience with an EdTech or Media Production Company, supported by a strong portfolio of work. 2. 1-3 years of experience in making content for YouTube as an individual contributor - vlogger, content creator, freelancer etc. 3. Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator) for editing and design. 4. Ability to work independently, illustrate ideas and create editing prototypes. 5. Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
