We are a leading multicuisine restaurant chain with outlets in Chennai, Madurai, Vellore, Ambur, and Bangalore, serving a diverse range of dishes to our discerning customers. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef/Sous Chef to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Executive Chef/Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing kitchen operations, developing menus, and ensuring exceptional culinary standards.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as an Executive Chef/Sous Chef in a multicuisine restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine, including Indian, Chinese, Italian, and more.
- Proven track record in menu planning, kitchen management, and team leadership.
- Excellent culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning and Development:
- Create and update menus to reflect seasonal changes and customer preferences.
- Ensure menu engineering and cost control.
- Kitchen Operations:
- Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Inventory Management:
- Control inventory levels, ordering, and storage.
- Ensure minimal waste and optimal usage of ingredients.
- Team Management:
- Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks and taste panels.
- Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
