We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef with expertise in Mughlai cuisine. The ideal candidate will lead our culinary team, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality Mughlai dishes. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, menu development, food preparation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities :
• Menu Creation & Development : Design and curate an authentic Mughlai menu that highlights traditional flavors while incorporating innovative culinary techniques.
• Food Preparation : Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and cooking of Mughlai dishes are executed with precision and consistency.
• Quality Control : Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, and presentation to exceed customer expectations.
• Team Leadership : Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring effective collaboration and efficiency in the kitchen.
• Inventory & Cost Management : Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies while reducing waste.
• Hygiene & Safety : Enforce and maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols as per industry regulations and company policies.
• Kitchen Operations : Plan and manage the kitchen's staffing needs, schedules, and daily operations to ensure smooth service.
• Culinary Innovation : Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques in Mughlai cuisine and incorporate new ideas to enhance the menu.
Qualifications :
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef, specializing in Mughlai cuisine.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional Mughlai recipes, cooking techniques, and flavors.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen environment.
• Expertise in menu costing, food quality control, and inventory management.
• Formal culinary training and relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience :
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Mughlai cuisine.
