Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative chef with expertise in both Continental and Indian cuisines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring excellent food presentation while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. This role requires a passionate individual who can balance traditional techniques with modern culinary trends to delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and innovate menus featuring Continental and Indian dishes, considering customer preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients.
Incorporate modern culinary trends while preserving the authenticity of flavors.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for both cuisines, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
Experiment with recipes and plating techniques to enhance the dining experience.
Lead, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence.
Train the team on cooking techniques, portion control, and food safety standards.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in compliance with quality, portioning, and presentation standards.
Monitor and maintain kitchen hygiene in line with health and safety regulations.
Oversee inventory levels and order ingredients as needed, minimizing waste.
Manage food costs without compromising quality and taste.
Interact with customers when necessary to understand preferences and gather feedback.
Adapt menus and preparation techniques based on feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
