:Job Title: Exchange connectivity IT Infrastructure Specialist.Location: PuneRole DescriptionThe Applied Engineering team manages connectivity between DB and Financial Market venues. This includes hedge funds, mutual funds, financial institutions, corporate/investment banks, brokers, clients, exchanges, dark pools (trading unseen), clearing connectivity, data vendors, clearing/settlement houses and many other institutions. This is across all businesses / asset classes.The team is consists of two areas - Exchange Connectivity, , and Client Connectivity .Exchange Connectivity represents the technology interface between Deutsche Bank and execution venues on which we trade, including exchanges, Electronic Communication Networks (ECNs), aggregators, and other liquidity venues. Throughout the year, there are a number of Mandatory (and Optional) Exchange Upgrade events, all which require management and in some cases hands-on responsibilities.This position is for an IT Infrastructure Specialist.This role would suit someone with a strong exchange connectivity and network background.What well offer youAs part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that youll enjoy

Your key responsibilitiesMandatory Exchange Updates

• Responsible for infrastructure changes required to meet mandatory exchange upgrades. This includes providing support to cross asset class application teams FX, Rates , Equities, Commodities, Listed Derivatives and Clearing.
• Raising firewall, requesting exchange sessions, routing and multicast network changes related to exchange upgrades.

Third Level Support

• Providing third level technical support function to assist SL1/SL2 and GNS support teams to resolve the more complex exchange connectivity infrastructure issues, involving market data , routing, circuit issues etc.

Application Development (ITAO)

• Further to Exchange connectivity we also manage applications that assist the various teams with information on the environment. These apps require updating and development for new features etc. Programming languages required. Python/Java

Application management

• We own several applications that will need to be managed through their lifecycle requirements.

Infrastructure design and implementation

• Working with all application teams to understand, define and document network connectivity requirements linked to any CTB changes
• Documentation of the application to Exchange network and firewall environment
• Expert knowledge of Corvil
• Optimisation of the network and firewall infrastructure.
• Requirements analysis, Technical design, project management, and implementation of new exchange connections or capacity upgrades. This includes the routing, IP addressing, NAT configuration, network diagrams, arranging cabling and physical equipment installation.
• Working with Global Networks to design and implement new exchange connections, in core and Co-Location.
• Attending technical meetings with the exchanges and other external 3rd parties
• Documenting the exchange connectivity and handing services over to operational SL1/SL2 support.

Project management

• Taking on Lead Project Management roles within major infrastructure projects impacting the Connectivity domain

Your skills and experience

• Detailed knowledge of the Exchange connectivity environment across all asset classes
• Detailed knowledge of the network technologies used to connect investment banking application to external venues including multicast technologies
• Ability to work with a wide range of application and network technologies commonly employed in the investment banking electronic trading environment
• Ability to work with a wide variety of resources across the group including application development teams, Exchanges, internal network, firewall and production management resources.
• Understanding of FIX and Market protocols

You should have:

• 3+ years in the financial industry - focused on electronic trading.
• Strong communication skills - with experience communicating to front office staff/senior management.
• Experience of working on large projects / programs (covering many regions / many business areas)
• Specific Exchange connectivity experience - to be listed by region.
• Background technical and experience with networking and firewalls.
