Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue through the strategic planning and execution of events. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales and Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the event sector.

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored event solutions.

- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals to potential clients.

Event Planning and Execution:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives for events.

- Work with internal teams (creative, production, logistics) to plan and execute events from concept to completion.

- Oversee the coordination of all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site execution.

- Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Client Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.

- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients before, during, and after events.

- Gather client feedback post-event and identify areas for improvement.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for events.

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop event concepts and themes.

- Coordinate with the finance team to manage event budgets and financial reporting.

Market Research and Analysis:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for event sales.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event sales, event management, or a related role within the advertising or marketing industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Strong network of industry contacts and relationships.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel as required.
