Job Summary:
The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and retention of existing ones. This role involves coordinating sales efforts, managing client relationships, and assisting in the execution of various events. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Coordination: Assist the sales team in managing leads, following up with potential clients, and coordinating sales activities.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their event needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Event Planning Support: Work with the event planning team to ensure all client requirements are understood and executed effectively.
• Proposal and Contract Preparation: Assist in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and other client-facing documents.
• Venue and Vendor Coordination: Liaise with venues and vendors to secure bookings, negotiate contracts, and confirm logistics.
• Database Management: Maintain and update the CRM database with accurate client information and sales activity details.
• Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales presentations.
• Event Execution: Support the execution of events, including on-site coordination and client interaction during the event.
• Reporting: Track sales metrics, generate reports, and analyze data to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in event sales, event coordination, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to customer service
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Attributes:
