Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation :
• Install EV charging stations at various residential, commercial, and public locations.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting :
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of EV chargers.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical malfunctions or software problems in charging stations.
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot problems via phone or in person.
• Site Assessment :
• Conduct site assessments to determine the electrical infrastructure needed for EV charging stations.
• Provide recommendations for optimal installation configurations.
• Compliance :
• Adhere to local, state, and national electrical safety regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
• Documentation :
• Complete and maintain accurate installation records, service reports, and customer documentation.
• Use software tools for tracking installations and updates to charging stations.
• Customer Relations :
• Interact with customers to explain installation processes, technical details, and answer questions.
• Provide guidance on charger operation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Education :
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems is preferred.
• Certified Electrician License (preferred but not always required).
• Experience :
• 2+ years of experience in electrical installation or related fields (EV installation experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with EV charging technologies, hardware, and software.
• Skills :
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (single-phase and three-phase systems).
• Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical and software issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking and IT systems related to EV chargers (advantageous).
• Physical Requirements :
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces, if needed.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites and work in varying weather conditions.

Pay: ?8,494.03 - ?30,000.00 per month
