: ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) Operator Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated ETP Operator to manage the operations and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate will work independently, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and optimizing the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effluent Treatment Operations:
• Operate and monitor the ETP system to ensure efficient treatment of wastewater.
• Manage the dosing and usage of chemicals for water treatment as per requirements.
• Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ETP equipment such as pumps, aerators, filters, and tanks.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to plant operations.
• Record Management:
• Maintain accurate logs of water quality parameters, chemical usage, and equipment performance.
• Ensure timely submission of reports for audits and compliance purposes.
• Quality Monitoring:
• Test and analyze water samples for parameters like pH, TSS, COD, BOD, etc.
• Ensure treated water meets regulatory discharge standards.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to environmental regulations and safety protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals used in the ETP.
• Optimization:
• Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of the treatment process.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Minimum ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in ETP operations, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and chemicals.
• Familiarity with testing procedures and standards for wastewater treatment.
• Other Skills:
• Ability to work independently and manage plant operations efficiently.
• Strong record-keeping and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, onsite role in a manufacturing or industrial unit.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Reporting To:

Maintenance Head

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?23,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
