ETL Technical Lead, Manager- State Street Global Advisors :

Key Responsibilities & Experience Range


• 8+ years of IT Experience on a technical role with Hands-on in SQL and exposure to Data Warehouse BI/DI technologies.
• Able to understand and articulate Domain problem statements while technically strong to be able to drive that domain requirement to closure by guiding the technical teams
• Experience in translating requirements into user stories and objectively defining acceptance criteria
• Be a tribe-level go-to person for solving problem in areas supporting investment industry data domain with familiarity of investment data (marketing/transactional/analytics)
• and update Standard Operating Procedures for Data analysis to maintain quality
• Individual Contributor role




Skills & Knowledge:


Qualification & Certifications:


• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information technology or related area.
• Familiarity of investment data is a must (marketing/transactional/analytics)
• Strong SQL/BI Analytics and ETL exposure (to tools like Informatica, AbInitio etc) to be able to mentor and aid both business and technical teams
• Understanding and exposure to Quality analysis/ Quality control / Testing tools is a must
• Understanding of JIRA/Kanban/Microsoft Project is a must (to create user stories and drive epics/stories to meet organizational targets




Primary Skills (Must Have):


• Well verse with informatica IICS, Python and a hands-on software engineer with very conversant with ETL realm and technology solution.
• End to End ETL solutioning using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), python, S3, Redshift, Postgres and other related cloud services.
• Defines, challenge and prioritize with client data requirements.
• Design advanced conceptual, logical and physical data organizations, models, repository, dashboards, reports within a complete functional and technical architecture.
• Partners with other architects, infrastructure and software experts to define metadata layers, technical strategy and optimal integration within existing client IT landscape.
• Translate to technical designers or developers designed solution, review proposed solution and optimize it when required and Participate to the definition of testing strategy.
• Ensure business access to adequate, understandable, accurate data.
• Design, develop and continuously improve supporting activities (automation of versioning and release management, scheduling, security models, impact assessment of new changes ...) and accountable for End to End solution.




Secondary Skills (Good to Have):


• Interest/Curiosity in business analysis industry trends
• Investment guideline monitoring for both investment funds and client mandates
• Experience with Asset management domain will be a plus

SSGA Technology & Architecture is focusing on adopting a computing framework for its analytic applications using Open Source and open/private cloud hosting. It encompasses Architecture & Development of Analytic computing framework in Cloud, Migration of Data & Compute to Cloud and Cloud Operations, etc. As a member of a high performing group this role would be a blend of enterprise architecture and technical architecture and will be responsible for developing and maintain architectural blueprints and also develop technical architectures for enterprise platforms.
